Planning Notes

Factors to consider
·         Ask permission from the manager at the golf club (where we will be shooting the bar scene and attack) that we need to film our scenes and make sure that the place is not packed. Also permission to use a prop gun.
·         Ask our teachers for props for example a gun and other weapons as they can provide us with them.
·         Wherever we are filming make sure we don’t have any people around that would accidentally get into the shots
·         Weather – as most of our shots are outdoors we need to make sure the weather is good
·         Care of equipment – as our teacher will trust us with equipment we need to make sure one of us has the equipment and takes care also whenever filming they need to bring it.

Posters and Magazine Covers

This is a teaser poster for our trailer. as you can see the poster only consists of a picture, title, tagline, main leads name and coming soon date. this is the stereotypical teaser poster as the audience are not given much information as they would get in a theatrical poster with the main leads face and most of the time a still from the movie. this poster represents the main characters trait one being he loves to drink and second loves to go on missions.

This is a sight and sound magazine cover of our main lead sat down holding a gun. this cover was inspired by the sight and sound magazine where Brad Pitt's character in 12 years of Slave featured on the cover. The idea is to show how the character is laid back and with the gun shows his fierce ready to fight.

Here is the empire magazine where our main lead is in the center of the cover standing and holding a gun. this cover was inspired by the issue featuring James Bond (Daniel Craig). As our main lead is on a mission, we were inspired by character like Bond and Bourne as they are the ultimate agents ever portrayed in films.

Here is another sight and sound cover of our main lead in the dark and through the spotlight is assembling his gun. This image resembles how the main lead likes to keep a low profile and keep safe.

Here is another teaser trailer featuring the main lead in a close up holding a gun. This poster was inspired by the equalizer poster where Denzel Washington is in the same position. Again this teaser only consist of a few

Here we have another Empire Magazine featuring both the male and female leads. The idea is to show that the male main lead is protecting the girl and she allows him to do so by standing behind him and holding the gun.

Animatic

in order for our audience to understand how our trailer will come out we created an animatic. the animatic allows the audience to see a rough sketch of how our trailer will look like. the animatic includes voice overs, music and credits. we have also created a commentary so the audience also understands why we decided on a certain shot or what does it represent.
